Creo Consultants partnered with Lend Lease to modularise two of the three new ward wings associated with the expansion of the Sunshine Hospital that forms part of the broader State Government $492M investment into public mental health beds across Victoria The two modularised wings utilise cold shell modules to construct the 3 story buildings. Each with integrated concrete stair and lift cores and a connecting modularised link between the two buildings. Creo’s structural design responsibilities encompassed not only the overall building structural design, documentation and certification but also all of the individual module designs, lifting design and temporary works procedures associated with the modular construction.
